Hilton Mobile key is the shite
The best thing that has happened to my travel lately is not stopping at front desk.
If your Avis get the app pick your car when you land
Be Marriot or be Hilton don't be both unless you can make status at both

This here. Make a plan to work out/run/whatever on every trip.

Make sure you request rooms away from the elevator and ideally next to other open rooms. Can't tell you how many times I have had to switch rooms. Noisy hotel rooms are truly the worst thing to me about travelling, even more so than a flight delay. ETA I can blast white noise, pound melatonin but if I know the person next to me is making noise until 3am I will not fall asleep

Lots of good stuff already mentioned but here are a few things I will echo.
1. Fly business casual with a sports coat
2. I use a rolling suitcase and carry a thule backback
3. Unless I am physically unable, I always print everything (tickets, hotel confirmations, reservations, etc.) A lot of people think this is overkill but I can't tell you how many times I've been saved when my phone won't pull up a site, airline computers crash, etc. This is especially important if you're flying overseas

I have a travel pro carry on and tumi backpack. Always carry on.
Tumi and away has nice bags as well.
Getting in/around airports- it depends. I use uber/Lyft if I am going to a conference/tradeshow. Mostly rent cars.
Hotels/airlines/car rentals: choose one for each and stick to it. Sign up for loyalty programs and earn your free travel.
I use Marriott/ United/sw/ hertz.
Sign up for cc with reward points. I have a Marriott visa and a chase sapphire reserve.
I have to use my corporate Amex so it sucks but I use my csr for everything so it adds up. Chase Sapphire reserve has priority pass and it’s amazing for international travel. They have a few lounges in domestic too.
I always sit in the aisle/window seat but I prefer aisle. Put an alarm on your phone for check in Times to get a good boarding group.
Look for crossover programs.. platinum on Marriott gets me silver elite on United.
I know that delta and Lyft have some sort of deal.
If you use a tablet, you can download Netflix shows.
Global entry is worth everything. Precheck is included
