Heading to Buffalo for Dec 11th game vs the Jets. Have a couple free days to Uber around town, any suggestions on bars/things to do?
TIA

Following this thread because my dad and I are going to the Vikings game.

Right now we plan on going to Niagara Falls Friday.
Saturday going to be around Buffalo and go to the anchor bar and the Sabers Bruins game.
Sunday tailgate and go to the game.

I've got friends who still live there, they usually tailgate every game. I'll try to respond further after I am back home today

Stay downtown. Parts of it are sketch but there’s cool spots and bars. Stadium is pretty intimate so you’ll have a great time.

Sabres are at home that Friday night, go catch a game against the penguins. There's a bunch of bars within walking distance from the stadium including the labatt house.

Would suggest finding your way up to Niagara falls if you haven't been. For wings, bar bill in east Aurora has the best wings imo but it's a bit of a hike with no car.

If the ice skating is set up, you can do that downtown. Canalside area has a bunch of things for families as well.

Hotel wise, the Marriott Canalside is what you want. Great views of lake Erie, right next to the sabres arena, and close to bars.

Speaking of bars, 716 is a decent option, Pearl Street is also very good. Mentioned labatt house already, there's also a haufbraus house with sausage and litres of beer.

For the game, most bills fans are pretty chill. You can walk around in Orchard Park and see if anyone will let you tailgate with them. It's going to be cold so dress warm
