booking for at least 12 for late July/early August in NOLA

We're trying to plan a weekend post-birth baby shower event and NOLA would be the easiest for all of my out of town friends & family to get to and would help with costs for them to come in. Is Airbnb/Vrbo the best way to go about booking something like this? I've done Vrbo before and due to a previous experience with Airbnb that was out of our control, we are no longer using them. Our range is mostly after Essence and before Red Dress Run)
