Looking for the Best place to stay within driving of Denver for Margo Gras break 2021, Not necessarily to ski but more for the views, good dinners, overall good time for a couple in their mid 30s. Maybe some tubing or snowmobiling, but really don’t plan to do much if any skiing. TIA

the resorts/resort towns will be packed with...skiers. If you want to avoid than maybe around the bear creek area/morrison, there’s tons of nice cabins in the creek and it’s a beautiful area.
Idaho springs is off the interstate heading west and has a lot to do as well. Personally I would avoid I70 but it is a nice spot.
You could also go to boulder if you want more of a city with views around it, or Estes park near RMNP

Don’t go to Boulder. Went in September and that place is locked down. Was tough to find a place to eat.
I’d suggest Fort Collins or Colorado Springs.

Estes Park would be my pick. Nice and scenic and won’t be packed with skiiers.
