Mrs. GH is planning a bachelorette trip. What area should they stay in?

TIA

Downtown. It's pretty safe very walkable.

So you don't have to drive or include some high Uber fees. It won't be cheap though.

I like this place. Very nice rooftop bar.

Well not North Nashville.

The issue will be accessing the areas you want to go and driving etc.

Safety-wise if it was my wife I'd want to be around Vanderbilt or the 12 South area.

I did a quick search maybe a couple of options..

The Gulch area is very nice. Lots of condos for rent easy to get anywhere without being right on strip.

We stayed right around Vanderbilts campus. Not far from downtown at all.

Actually, we'd need some key information on this as well. How many are in the party? Do they all want to stay together? What's their budget for accommodations? Am assuming they'd want to Lyft or Uber, or ideally walk (if they can, but I digress). Seriously, we're the "Bachelorette Capital Of The World". It gets annoying even with these "Peddle Taverns" and "Party Buses". Drunk women hootin' and hollerin' going up and down the streets. But I digress.

Oh what the hell. Here's one example.

And nothing says party better than a party tub!

The "epicenter" of all the action is off Broadway and 2nd Avenue. The Gulch, as noted, is a great location but maybe up to a 2 mile stumble on foot down to 2nd Avenue. Not that you can't, but not sure they'd want to (or "could"!) walk that far.

Looked for some "Gulch" AirBnB. An example?

Another example?

Another example if the party size isn't that large?

Be aware of the actual locations in the advertisements though and ask specifically where the property is. They'll advertise the location often when in fact it's not as close as you'd think. And there are still some areas "near the Gulch" that I wouldn't walk around.

It's not an AirBnB, but the Thompson Hotel is right in the middle of the Gulch, has a great roof top bar and would be ideal in that area.

Be prepared for "sticker shock" as prices down town can be very high BTW.

Of course it wouldn't be Nashville if you didn't get plowed!
