Any recs on outdoor things to do? I already know Hamilton Pool, Barton Springs, Schilitterbah, but any other places to go hiking, swimming, etc?
Any of your favorite places to eat or wine bars are greatly appreciated as well.
Thanks!

If you are into motorcycles, Republic of Texas MC Rally is going on 7-10th.
Plenty of BBQ joints if you like that, Salt Lick, Franklin BBQ, Stubbs, etc. Plenty music joints on 6th St. It gets really hot in June, so dress appropriately.

Go zip lining in the hill country, paddle boarding on Lady Bird Lake, hiking the green belt, etc.

It hasn’t rained so don’t expect much water in the Barton creek green belt.
San Marcos river is always a decent option. Spring fed always water. Park by the saltgrass and go to the waterfall.
If your int o the camping/hiking and have kids a day trip to driftwood would be worth your while. Go to driftwood estates for an early bottle, lunch at salt lick, swimming at camp Ben

wine bars
The grove 620, but there are so many wineries around you can find an actual vineyard within 1 hr or so
I have heard nice things about flat creek in marble falls. You could take a day trip up there, swim or rent a boat on lake marble falls or similar highland lake. Have lunch at the winery

South Congress is cool to just stroll down and grab something to eat. That can kill a couple hours.
Westlake and Bee Cave is beautiful scenery.
Lady Bird Lake is awesome.
St. Elmo Brewing is an awesome little brewery to go grab a beer or two. They also had a food truck in the patio area when I went.
I tried Micklethwait and was honestly unimpressed. Franklins is great but you have to get in line at like 8AM for lunch and that's not worth it to me.

If you want to go tuning, choose the Comal in New Braunfels. Its spring fed, so it's always cool and full. Schlitterbahn is built on its banks.
