Flying out of Atlanta next week for the first time in years. How bad is security lately?

Depends. Do you have TSA Precheck, Clear, etc.? Just flew through there a couple weeks ago and it wasn't bad, but I was there around 8am and have TSA + Clear.

Flew through there a week ago Sunday and it took me about 30-40 minutes to get through the peasant's line.
Best part of it was a meet and greet with Nakobe Dean who was 4 folks in front of me in line.

It’s not bad assuming you have TSA Pre. Monday mornings are usually the worst in terms of security lines. There’s also construction involving the South Terminal parking deck, so the parking there is more limited.
