Arizona- Hiking around Flagstaff, Sedona, Superstition Wilderness

I'm looking to travel to Arizona next week and I want to do some backpacking, hiking, trail running, and camping around Flagstaff, Sedona, and Phoenix.
Does anyone have any recommendations for things to do in Flagstaff and Sedona?
Any recommendations on campgrounds, trail runs, or backpacking loops in these areas?
Thanks in advance.
ETA: do you think it will be too hot next week? I think it'll be ok up in the North. I guess I'm worried about temps around Superstition Wilderness.
