I have been looking into Croatia, too. It is just hard for me to justify flying all the way to Europe to go to the beach when the Caribbean is so close and so nice. If we go we will definitely spend some time on the beaches, but I would be interested to hear thoughts on the activities outside of the beaches.

I assume you mean outdoor activities. Hiking, kayaking, sailing, rock climbing, cycling, ziplines, etc... If you want an off the beaten path area for hiking and bike riding (plus being close to Krka NP) try Agroturizam Duvancic - FB link
