Anegada, BVI

Probably should just put up the VABuckeye Bat Signal (what would that look like?), but looking at a day trip to Anegada to check it out for a potential longer stay in the future. Any tips or places to make sure and check out from our resident VI experts? Thinking about chartering a go-fast boat from St. John next July to give us enough island time.

Do it.
Eat breakfast at Pam's (to the left of the dock when you arrive). Her food is great.
Rent a jeep and drive to Cow Wreck Beach. You can walk for miles on the beach on Adegada and they are pretty much all like the pictures you posted. Have lunch or drinks at Cow Wreck and hear the story of how the beach got its name. You can eat lunch there or head over to Big Bamboo for Anegada lobster if it's in season. You can also stop by Anegada Beach Club to check it out. Once you see the oceanside cabanas you're going to want to come back and stay there.
Anegada is different than all the other Virgin islands in that they are all volcanic islands and Anegada is a coral island so it's flat like Providenciales, T&C. It's a small island that can easily be driven around.
Enjoy, it's a place we love and a great island to spend a really chill, relaxing day on.
This isn't cow wreck beach but where the dock meets the land you can see a couple of cows just hanging out on the beach.

Was there in June and can concur. We sailed in and spent afternoon at Loblolly Bay. Had the whole beach to ourselves snorkeled with a 5’ wide eagle ray and then had dinner at one of the numerous lobster shops. Such a great place.
