Going to have 3 days in Seattle in May. I generally like to experience a city as more of a local. A bit of a foodie, definitely a wine snob, love history, and have gotten into craft beer. What are the must sees/dos?

Watch out for the needles and bums. Wa there two weeks ago the waterfront and Pikes Market was horrible with those peasants in the street. Wonderful city gone bad.

There are really cool neighborhoods away from the city proper. I think Ballard, Fremont all had good bars and restaurants. We stayed on Portage Bay so there was a real good sailing vibe out there.

It is what you make of it.
