YouTube TV question

I am wanting to watch YouTube when camping in a sprinter van. I currently view it in my phone when I get to a location. Although I’d like to get a small monitor and stream. Looking into it I don’t think you can connect with a lightning cable to a small monitor. YouTube tv hasn’t fixed that bug yet. Any thoughts? I would rather not get WiFi in the van at an extra cost.
Thank you
Thank you

We stream it using a hotspot while traveling. Getting ready to get T-Mobile internet to use in the van

Get a cheap router, create a home network in your van and feed it from your phone hot spot and connect to whatever tv that is on the same network.

The new iPhone 15 has a USB-C connector. I've heard that you can connect an external monitor to the phone with it.
I have no idea if this is available on Android phones.

I’d like to add an additional question. Is there really any benefit to the 4K plus package? I share my YouTube tv sub with my in laws but we hardly stream 3+ TVs at the same time. We don’t download and the 4K content is minimal still.
Any reason to keep it?

quote:with the 4K add-on, you'll still be subject to the same location limits in the TOS. But will have unlimited at the "home network" but Youtube might declare your in-laws the home network so it still could get messy if over 3 streams.

as already mentioned the 4k add-on doesn't enable any more streams outside the house. You are limited to 3 no matter what.
