Samsung Galaxy S22+ with T-Mobile. Works fine on WiFi. Cellular data is working fine. Can get to any website and speed tests are running at 500mbs. I've tried uninstalling YouTube, reinstalling, clearing data/cache, restarting phone with no results.

Just tried, doens't work. It's also not a phone issue because I connected a spare phone via hotspot and it doesn't work on that phone either.

All carriers mess with YouTube streaming. Go to your carrier settings and see if they let you change streaming options.

sounds like a DNS issue
Might be it. I tried using my VPN and YouTube works via cellular with VPN turned on.

Update: Works now. Chatted online with a customer service representative that only asked me to restart the phone, which I had already tried numerous times throughout the day so I didn't even attempt it. After I disabled the chat, it miraculously works now.
