You Tube videos stop playing

Recently when playing videos on You Tube it starts spooling at 59 seconds and occasionally at 1:06. Sometimes it clears up after multiple refreshes. I have tried a few fixes others posted online but none of them work. Has anyone experienced this and discovered a good fix for it?

Sounds like YT is fighting with your ad blocker.

I don't intentionally have an ad blocker set up. How do I disable it?

Google chrome. I tried edge and got the same result.

No. I use Nord VPN, would that affect it?

Maybe? Try disabling it and then see if you have the same issue. If not, we at least know how to narrow the focus.
