I wouldn't watch 1 second of illegal TV without one, but that's me. I have a dedicated router that has a VPN that runs all of ours.

Very little chance to get in trouble, worst thing being your ISP cancels your service if they warn you enough.

I've never had a problem in my years of doing iptv and Kodi before that without a vpn. What I don't do is upload any of these. Meaning no torrents. Is that the difference? unsure. But now it's too much of a headache for me to keep playing whack a mole with bad services.

That was with Comcast internet which should be even more hard core keeping me from doing that without a vpn, but nope.
