Blu Ray on the Xbox works great for me. Zero lag or issues

Ok, I splurged last night and bought the Xbox One S and it meets EVERY one of my needs except I have 1 issue currently.

Right now, I have my Amazon FireTV connected via HDMI In to the Xbone S. I'm doing that in order to run PS Vue through firetv. My issue is that I have a harmony ultimate one remote but when I run an Activity to start the Xbox One S, I can't control the Amazon Fire TV unless I use the native FireTV remote.

Anyone had any luck with using a remote that can control the xbox one S and the amazon fire tv when it's tunneled through the xbox one s?

The Fire TV remote is RF not infrared.

It is? I thought it was Bluetooth? I know my Harmony Ultimate One with the hub can control both my xbox and my amazon fire tv SEPERATELY but it definitely seems to get confused when I try and use the FireTV THROUGH the Xbox One S.

Probably. It does have to be paired with the device as I recall.

You will need to pair the Fire TV with your hub.
