New to Elementor, not to WordPress.

Working on a basic page with several sections including stand alone section headers. There is a ton of empty/white space between sections but I can't figure out how to shrink the height of the containers to make the rows smaller/closer together.

In the layout tab of the container editor there is a minimum height declaration, but nothing for maximum height. In the advanced there is a section for padding and margin, but I don't want to mess with those.

if you have unwanted white space between content in two elements, padding and margin and going to be prime suspects. You can use your browser's devtools to see what that space is made up of and you can also play around with the CSS to figure out what you want then make the changes in WordPress.

Does it give you a purple and blue option to drag?

Not that I see. When in the Elementor editor when you hover over or click on an element (div, flexbox, gridbox) it just shows the outline in pink.

It's not a big deal - it was just a demo page, nothing critical for now.
