I built a bar outside and would like to put a tv above it. I don't really want to hassle with the wires because I will be moving it inside (at a camp) when I'm not there.

Will have direct TV service. What do I need as far as equipment goes? Im trying to get this done as inexpensively as possible. The camp is a 16x80 mobile home (yes I'm trashy, lol). I do not have Internet service in any capacity. TIA

I have one "main" DirecTV box in my living room, that is the DVR and is hooked up to another piece of DTV equipment. All my other boxes are wireless, they just need power.

I would assume you would need a permanent wired box inside the camp, and a second box for outside you can move in and out as needed.

I've had success with IOgear. It hooks up to your existing receiver and has a wireless transmitter that can be powered by USB that hooks up to the second TV.

The new system Genie 2.0 has one hub not connected to any tv and 2 terabytes of storage. All the boxes are mini wireless boxes that connect to it. It records 8 channels at once. We got ours two weeks ago.

The minis just from the back the tv via a short hdmi cord provided by them. You won’t see any wires as long as our power is behind the tv.
