Hi all,
I recently have had to restart my modem and router atleast once a day from dropping internet issues. I have Xfinity for internet and through their app, it always says everything is good on the modem side. is there a way to know if my issues are coming from the modem or the router specifically?
Modem is motorola surfboard 6141 and router is netgear N 300
Thanks for any advice and please let me know if i can give more info.

How old is the router? In my experience its almost always the router, they seem to go out much more frequently.

Surfboard sb6141 troubleshoot
Power Reset. Unplug the cable modem from the AC wall outlet and wait one minute. Plug the cable modem into the wall outlet. Wait until the Power, Receive, Send, and Online LEDs are solid.
