What to do in case of malware suspicion

Tech illiterate here.
I am normally pretty good on phishing emails, but I fear I may have missed one. I have an iPhone and clicked a suspicious link on my personal email. Any advice on what to do to check my phone for malware or to do a basic security check/cleanup? I know there are many services advertised for this sort of thing but wanted to just ask here before I dig into them.
TIA

not impossible, but I think highly unlikely you got a virus on your phone from clicking a link. phones are pretty secure and the iphone is probably the most locked down to the chagrin of devs worldwide. im pretty sure apps are sandboxed on iphones as well. so, while you are on a website it might be able to create the appearance it has gained some control of your device, its very unlikely it has. close the tab and resist clicking links from people you don't know in the future (and probably even from people you do know most times).
