I have a Sony but it surprisingly sucks. Always buffering. Often it says no DVD in player even though it is. Other reviews on best buy website say same thing.

So what do you recommend? I just want to be able to stream the usual suspects such as Netflix and prime while playing DVDs.

I have this Sony Blu-ray for my daughters room and it works just fine. All the major apps.

I bought a Samsung and the thing has no lights on the front of it at all. Not one. It’s a pain in the arse to figure out if it’s on or off when you’re switching TV inputs. I’m Samsung loyal, but would not buy that unit again.
