Vizio TV responds slow to remote

The vizio tv I have outside on my patio has about a two second or more delay from the time I press a button until it does the action on the tv. It's extremely annoying!
-We have it connected wirelessly to the internet, but it is only about 20 feet from the wireless router.
-Happens in daylight and after sun has gone down. At first I thought maybe the bright sunlight was interfering with the signal from the remote.
I've tried numerous internet hacks, but nothing has worked yet.
Has anyone else had this issue, and were you able to fix it?
Thanks!

Is that you holding the button down for two seconds or press, release, wait two seconds? One could be the remote, one is likely a TV issue.

Had the issue as well. Messed around with the arc and turned off the energy saver start and seemed to work

typical for Vizio. I have a PX75 and similar issues 90% of the time. The picture quality is great for the price with Vizio but you are much better off using a streaming device (roku, fireTV, appleTV, etc.) instead of the TV's "smart features."
The picture quality from the Vizio apps are the absolute best but the remote/slow navigation makes it not worth it a lot of the time.
