Visible hot spot question

I'm currently using their service for my and the Wife's phones and we're happy with that. I'm looking for a full time rural option for our barndominium build and they do no offer a hot spot only plan and I'm not liking the other options that are available at this time. Can I just order another phone (cheapest) and leave it connected to charger and connect to a router?

well after new phone purchase and adding the plan to the party pay deal they have going, I'd be at 30$/month all in if it will work. not looking for high speed at this point, just control over a few smart plugs and cameras.

Buy a used phone off Swappa. If you have 4 lines with Visible, each line becomes $25. So, essentially, you could set up a new phone line and use the Hotspot for $25 per month, unlimited.
