Video TDR failure atikmpag.sys?

Ever since my computer went through a few updates over the weekend, I have been getting this message when I wake it up from sleeping. The monitors flicker, it fails to wake up, and has to reboot. My wifi also needs to be reset every time this happens.
After looking online, I took out the video card and cleaned the dust off of it, and checked for updates (which there weren't any). I got rid of the updates, and it persisted, so I re-installed them. It is still doing the same thing every time I wake it up. I do also have a few USB ports that have failed recently.
Is this a symptom of a failing mobo? Should I try to move the video card to another slot? Buy a new video card? Time to build a new computer?
Here is a picture of my setup. It is old, but it still works well. The only problem I have with it is when I open multiple HD videos at a time

That is a driver failure for your Radeon 2400 XT.
Check your update history list for ATI Radeon drivers.
ETA: You are running 2007 era hardware. You will be blown away when you decide to build a new machine.

There haven't been any new drivers since '12 or '13 for it IIRC.
It actually runs Solidworks 2012 fine. I haven't had many performance problems with it at all, except for trying to play more than one HD video at a time
Next build is gonna be an i7-7820X with 64gb ram and a quadro card in it, because I have been designing and running simulations on a lot of shite lately. So yes, it will be faster

I wouldn't invest a second of time in troubleshooting a Core 2 machine. It's time to dump it dude
Also you really need to consider AMD, especially for multithreaded applications.

I'm assuming you tried system restore, but like the poster above stated, don't go out of your way. For future reference there are programs out there that help you make sense of the minidump where crash reports are usually stored. Bluescreenview is pretty decent. Create a bootable win pe and troubleshoot from there.

Decided to put together a new one tomorrow, but wouldn't mind having a backup just in case. Thinking of buying a new video card for it. If it doesn't work, I'll just send it back.
All I need is a PCI card with the same outputs, right? Any other considerations I should be aware of?

You'll need to buy something older that still has a BIOS. Newer video cards only have UEFI and won't work in that mainboard.
