Or the Hisense H9G for around half the price

but to say the H9G offers half of the performance of an LG OLED is ridiculous.

Sorry, I should have said better than half the performance for half the price.

The LG CX OLED is better overall than the Hisense H9G. The LG uses OLED technology to individually turn off pixels, resulting in an infinite contrast ratio. It also has much wider viewing angles, better color accuracy, a wider color gamut, and more gaming features. However, the Hisense gets much brighter and it doesn't have the risk of permanent burn-in.

If you were gonna do a 65", why not do this LG - 65" Class CX - $1899?

One reason would be that the TV I was speaking to above, with these ratings, can be had for half the price. If budget is an issue, this would be a no brainer.

Agreed. But if you were gonna do the 1800 the one I responded to said, you might as well go with the LG.

The LG Oled is the best TV available hands down. Should last 10+ years. Well worth the splurge. There are plenty of really good options but if you want the best get Oled. Unless you live in a glass house

I would absolutely buy that one over anything else on the market. I’m working with an LG B6 from 2016 that is incredible. I’ve seen the CX at costco. The 65 and 77 are mindblowingly great
