Verizon 4g LTE wireless - 2nd location

So I have the new Verizon internet for my house where it is $25/month. Works great and no issues.
We are trying to get a 2nd box for my other house but Verizon is saying I can’t do it because it either isn’t acceptable or they have maxed out the number of boxes they allow. Normally, I would take it and be fine with it but I was told by an in-store rep I could set it to my home where I already have it set up and just bring it to the other location.
Am I SOL or has anyone else dealt with this?

Take the one you already have to the 2nd location and see how/if it works. If it's good do what the store rep said for the 2nd account.
