Has anyone used a USB over IP device they recommend?

I have some expensive license dongles I'd like to secure in the server room. And XCP-ng wont allow me to backup a VM with a VUSB connected.

When I get home I'll check to see what model I have. Works flawlessly on its own VLAN across two switches. Have some USB printers on the other end that comes back to my print server VM

I have the Extron USB Extender T and R. You can get both on eBay for like $60-70 total

Make sure they include the power supplies

Transmitter

Receiver

I should have been more clear. I'm not looking for an extender. I'm looking for a product like Digi's AnywhereUSB Plus. These devices are more like USB servers where the client device is connected through software, not hardware.

Silex DS-700 - This USB 3.0 Device Server supports both IPv4 and IPv6, enabling easy connectivity and sharing of USB devices like printers or storage devices over a network. It's praised for simplifying USB device networking in environments like VMware, Citrix, or Hyper-V.

CoolGear USB 3.2 Gen 1 Over IP Network Hub - This industrial-grade hub offers USB device sharing over LAN with speeds up to 5Gbps. It's designed for installations in heavy-duty environments like industrial settings, featuring DIN rail mounting and LED indicators for port status.

StarTech.com USB to Ethernet Adapter (USB221E) - While not as feature-rich as dedicated USB over IP solutions, this adapter exemplifies devices that blend USB functionality with network connectivity, albeit more for direct USB over Ethernet rather than full network sharing capabilities.

Iogear GuCEN104 - USB 3.0 Ethernet & Charging Hub - Although primarily a hub, it showcases devices that merge USB functionality with network connectivity, hinting at the trend towards integrating such features for broader connectivity options.
