Too many times this happens I just wanna put on some meaningless shite that I half care about.

In this case it was world baseball stuff. I don’t really care that much about Mexico vs Columbia but it would be nice to watch.

But I ain’t troubleshooting all this. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

When I had directv I couldn't watch TV when it was raining. When I had cox cable my HD channels would sometimes drop to SD except worse because it wasn't full screen. Also the HD image quality was shite anyway. Every service has problems. Let us know when you find a perfect one.

(I mostly use Plex, which is as close to perfect as I've found)

If your streaming device has the same quality as that tv stand, I understand your frustrations.

Oh I wasn’t trying to solve anything, just bitching. It was an Xbox and charter. Was gonna put a baseball game on ESPN app. Switched to YouTube and music videos.

It’s a sound bar. The stand is hidden.

Polk, so semi OT baller status confirmed.

I stream daily without issue. Like 99.9% of the time it just works.

He is talking about the faux antique cabinet it’s sitting in. It’s either distressed on purpose or been sitting in the attic for years before you stuck a tv on it.

I have no problems with it, but that is what he was talking about I believe. Looks ready to fall apart.

Yes, I can see the sound bar. What I was talking about is that piece of furniture the tv was sitting on.

The ESPN app works most of the time but has been the most problematic streaming experience for me over the years.

I keep a mini PC connected to my TV and use the browser just in case the ESPN app fails or doesn't offer the game I want to watch.

probably my biggest pet peeve with streaming is the pissing match between studios, networks, streaming services, etc. there's no reason youtube tv doesn't have A&E and Hulu doesn't have Hallmark or that Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime or any of the other services aren't streaming Home Improvement or Kids in the Hall

Oh ya. That some stupid half painted thing the wife got. They charge more and paint it half. Like they used to do with jeans and charge more to put holes in them.

It’s like the world’s gone mad everywhere I turn.
