Sounds similar to my setup. It's only like 3-4 years old, and I have no intention of replacing the full setup.

Maybe I can get a computer nerd to hack them, jailbreak them, whatever and still keep the existing functionality.
Only major issue I see with that is if the app stops working with the amps and I have to start using a new app.
