I looked at a couple trials yesterday. They were garbage. Anyone provide a m3u and XML that actually have matching tags or anything but the most basic m3u tagging to pair with a premium EPG service?
Seems like this entire space is run by idiots. Why TF would anyone want 300k channels? So easy to fix for one guy with 100k clients, but no. Let’s just make all 100k people do it manually.

Yup. I was planning on m3u4u/cabernet/jellyfin pipeline to get multiple TVs all with the same UX. It’s doable but something more automated would be better.
Ideally, there would be providers that at least tagged their playlists appropriately. I just started looking yesterday so I’m prob missing some things. Even the grouping they do is borderline retarded. I don’t want a group with every NBC affiliate in the USA because nobody on Earth wants that. I want a group with all DFW affiliates from all networks.

Yeah, I get what you mean. The US playlist on iptv-org has around 1,500 channels, which is a far cry from those bloated 300,000-channel lists, but it's still a lot to sort through.

The good thing is, iptv-org is a crowd-sourced project with everything organized in a public database. That means you can filter and build your own custom playlist based on exactly what you want.

For example, if you're only interested in Dallas channels: LINK

Thanks! Looks promising. I’ll try again using those.

This one cost 40 bucks for a 1 yr sub.

The server has a bazillion channels. Including all sports, cable channels, premium channels, movies at the movies, all cable channels, locals and a filthy selection of adult channels.

Depending if your running channels on an android or apple hardware.

I appreciate the info but I have a lot of TVs and if he is asking for a MAC which is not exposed over layer 3, this is a form of device and rate limiting meaning I probably won’t get the customization I’m after. I’ll def circle back to these type of options if I don’t find something I’m after though. I’m new to this so need some more trial and error.
