Samsung S7 is the top dog right now

At the moment, yes, but it won't be by the time I upgrade. The last switch I made from Apple was for the Lumia 1020. I really liked that phone, but it was exclusive to AT&T towers, so when I went back to VZW, I got the iPhone. I still miss the camera on that phone(and tile layout).

Galaxy S7 Edge is legit... I've had the phone for a week now and I seriously cant find one thing to bitch about or even nit pick. Wife got one as well... she was very hesitant to make the leap from her iPhone, but shes had nothing but good things to say about it.

Same here. Enough for me to overlook samsungs touchwiz crap. Best phone I've ever owned. No more bringing a ziplock bag on my bike rides in case it rains too

Yep, Nine. Worth every penny once the free period is up. I use it for both my work email and regular. It's way better than exchange and the single best app of any kid I have on my phone except for maybe, maps.

For now, yes but it likely won't be when the new Android OS comes out in a few months if it's all they are saying it will be. That will swing back to the 6P and whatever the new Nexus phone is. The 7's likely won't get the new OS until there is a better Samsung out.

It's a pretty drastic change that it will take you about 6 months to a year to figure out how to utilize all of the capabilities, but as for normal call/text/internet/email, that shouldn't take longer than a week to get used to.

Most people will never use Android to its full potential. The time it will take most people to "learn" android is customizing it the way they want it. Of all my friends on the android platform, the majority of them don't even use a launcher, let alone root.

I switched to Android about 4 years ago, and unless Apple starts allowing the type of customization that Android allows, I will never go back. I see friends and family with that same old cluttered home screen with a grid of icons and just cringe that Apple still won't allow you to customize your home screen even within the tightest of parameters.

Plus, and advantage of Android is being able to select what options and features you want on a phone. Removable battery? Go LG G5. Amazing speakers? HTC. Great camera? S7 Edge, or Nexus. Expandable storage? Take your pick of the many. Prefer LCD Screen? Plenty of options. Want AMOLED? Got you covered there, too. Must have a 5.3 inch screen, but not a 5 or 5.5? No problem.

There are so many ways to get what you want on Android, whereas Apple makes all those decisions for their users.
