Streaming issues with the ESPN app through Starlink internet

This is going to be somewhat a long explanation of an issue in search of a solution.
My father and I have both the same setup and we live approximately 20 min from each other. We have Starlink satellite where we bypass the Starlink router to ASUS AI mesh routers. We both have Apple TV boxes. We both subscribe to YouTube and ESPN+. When he is connected to his internet and when he opens the ESPN app on the Apple TV, he gets a message that states “ESPN Streaming in this application is currently not available in your area”. When he uses his IPad or his IPhone, connected to his wifi, he is able to open the app but isn’t able to stream games that he should be able to stream due to his area. It basically says it’s not available for his subscription package. We both have YouTube TV and the same subscription services. I have no issues watching anything on the ESPN app at my location.
When I hot spot his phone to his Apple TV or take any of his devices off of his wifi connection, he is able to watch like normal but his AT&T connection is so bad at his home, it makes it unwatchable.
He also has a smart TV and when I try to access the app through his TV, He has the same issues.
I initially thought it was an issue with his ASUS router. I did a factory reset and re-install and got the same issues. I then reset the starlink router and took it off of bypass mode to see if the ESPN app would open up by just using the starlink router and we had the same issues.
I had contacted ESPN, thinking it was an ESPN issue and, after being on the phone for almost an hour with them, it was determined that they couldn’t see why it wasn’t streaming like it should. Games that we should be able to stream, Like LSU, weren’t streaming.
I have an open ticket with Starlink thinking it might have something to do with the IP address or something on Starlinks end but we all know how long it takes for Starlink to reply.
Has anyone else had a similar issues with streaming games on the ESPN app while using the starlink ISP?

What area are you in and what does your ISP location show up as?
Starlink has limited locations/ISPs. (I’m not an IT guy, so possibly not correct references). I live in the BR area but my Starlink shows me as Dallas. This creates issues with services that limit your location or use that location for available games.
For example, with Hulu (same bundle as ESPN and Disney), I was getting my “local news” based out of Dallas. Saints games were out of area and I was offered the cowboys or something else.
I called Hulu and had them update my “home location” to my address vs using the ISP. This corrected my issue. Yours may be something similar since it works on a phone. Phones will override the ISP since they have their own GPS.

My dad is south of Crowley in the country. The IP address shows the location is in Tx. I put in a ticket with starlink this afternoon and didn’t get a reply. My ticket explained the situation and I basically asked if they could reset his signal or somehow change is ISP location. They must have done something without replying because my dad was able to log on and watch the LSU softball game on his WiFi and apple device.

This is old, but I think it’s an issue with the ASUS router. I’m having the same problem with ESPN. I hooked up a travel router and had no issues connecting to the app. Plugged the ASUS router back in and got the location issue.
