Spectrum Internet

Spectrum just called my office to offer me a deal on my existing account. They will upgrade my service from 100mbps to 400, and reduce my bill from $375 to $361. The catch is, I have to pay $99 for the tech to come out and replace the modem.
I have 3 three phones lines and internet only, no tv.
I went to their website and built new service using my neighbors address. If I were a new customer, the same service would be $149. Any tips on getting them down on the price?

Just take a screenshot of that new customer deal and tell them to make it happen.

Yes. Call to cancel.

No. I just went through something similar.
They won't offer you a new customer deal, but you can negotiate. If you can canc and spend 30 days without internet (good luck, lol), then you can go back and get the new deal.
Also, you can pick up the equipment and install it yourself. Or better yet, buy it yourself and don't rent from them.

That was my experience with residential service, only difference is, after I canceled, we just opened a new account in my wife's name. Thing is here, I need to keep the phone numbers, so that strategy won't work.

You just have to call and negotiate. No way around it. They won't offer you the new customer deal.
I even did the whole walk out deal and them set up a disconnect date, and they never reached back out. So I called a day before disconnet and we compromised.
With this being a business acct, you don't have many options.

Thanks.
Looks like the only option, other than taking the deal, is to close the account and go with ATT. $200/month for the phones and 50mbps. I guess I could switch back after a month.

Right, but my guess is the AT&T deal is not a month to month deal
