Spectrum Internet Upgrade - Same speeds as before

I just upgraded my modem, so I could take advantage of the 200/200 mpbs speeds that they are now offering. I called and activated the new modem, but I'm not getting any faster speeds. Is there something else I need to do. New modem is Netgear CM500.

Check to make sure the modem doesn't have a setting to limit the speed. I had a modem that I had to log into and change the speed to a higher setting to get the faster speeds.

What area are you in? I was told I’d get a letter in the mail when the new speeds were available in my area so I could upgrade my modem.
