I’ve got an outdoor movie setup and the speaker wires are spliced together so they’re too big to go in the hole.

Is there anything I can attach the wire to that will make it easier?

I see banana plugs on Amazon but can’t tell if that’s the right thing to buy.

What they’re plugging into is the standard red/black push the button stuck in the hole thing.

What size wire are you using?

Maybe you could use something like this, mini pin connector.

The bigger question is why are they spliced? You have a picture? Never, ever wire in series.

Speaker looks like this so I’m going 2 wires and twisting the ends together to make 1 thing to go in the hole.

14 gauge wire.

Your speaker wire should be two conductors. One goes in red and one in black. There is no twisting them together. 14 gauge may be too big for the outputs.

Your image isn’t showing.

What model speaker? You shouldn't have to biwire them but I'd like to look at the manual.

A couple of things.

1. Use some sort of connector to connect to the end terminal. From the looks of it, standard banana plugs are the best option. WikiHow - How to use Banana plugs

2. You want to delete your photo. There are some security issues with it that I won't go into. But trust me, for your "safety" I'd take it down. (I'll give a specific update after it's gone.)

I don’t see any conductor plates. Maybe they’re internally done with an optional biwire/biamp hookup.

In any event, when it gets down to it, instead of explaining how to make jumpers, I’ve learned that Spade to banana jumpers exist and are quite cheap.
Yes, making your own tiny jumpers is likely just as good, but I like the concept of more contact than bare wire allows for, and I feel like these just make the concept easier for someone who may not totally understand what’s going on with the bi/tri terminal speakers.
Of note, I’ve had speakers perform poorly if you amp the same +/- (either top or bottom) and always find they sound better when you “cross” them up (red and black wire from the amp diagonal from each other, not next to each other)

You had geo-location turned on. With that turned on, when you take a picture your phone records the GPS info in the file information along with a lot of other stuff. Like I could tell you use an iPhone 14. With a little know how folks could click the photo and find out your address. All good now. You have to have certain tools activated in your browser for that to work. Most folks don't have them. On a screw up scale, I'd put it at 2.5 out of 10.

If you could I'd delete it off the free hosting site too. And as a FYI, not all those sites allow for easy deletes. That's why I always put a 1 or 2 week limit on them when I upload files.
