Looking to add a soundbar to our bedroom and saw that this Vizio will be 99 on BF @ BB.
LINK
Anyone have any recommendations? Cnet gave the Vizio a pretty glowing review.
Also amazon has the Yamaha yas-207(although I read that the bass ranges were wonky due to hardware) for $153 currently and I can get 15% back. Thought about upgrading my 5 year old samsung unit in my living room to this and moving the samsung to the bedroom.
Not looking for more than a 2.1 or 3.1 setup. TIA

Well that's just dumb. Not everyone wants to invest in all the nonsense required for a full AVR/surround getup or are looking for something more than the tiny tv speaker in other rooms in their house.
I got a cheap Vizio on Amazon treasure truck a couple months back with sideways firing sound that I hooked up to a spare sub I had sitting around and it's pretty damn nice.
Amazing what they've been able to do with the acoustics on soundbars these days to fake surround. It really sounds like I have speakers on the walls of my basement when it's throwing audio left and right.
