I liked it a lot last year and came really, really close to pulling the trigger. Have the cash ready but have opted to wait on the 85X95J with better processor.
They just dropped the 85x950H to an all-time low of $3345 and has me itching again. It also means the X95J is about to drop — price will be $4450.
And the 75X950H is $2K, another great deal.
But … take a good look at the 77A80J in OLED, possibly the best non-sale deal in Sony history at $3500.

All my TVs are Sony. But when they failed to include hdmi 2.1 in last years lineup I passed on upgrading.

Heard Sunday that the 85” X95Js won’t be widely available until at least September and the 65s even later.
So this week I will go with a 77” A80J OLED for $3500 with a 10 percent kickback if you put it on a new Best Buy card. That will cover the tax and effectively save $350. I proudly and religiously pay off my cards monthly so it’s not an issue.
Just hope I don’t regret that 8” difference later (ahem).

I exchanged my 55” X950H for a X900H. IMO there wasn’t a noticeable difference to support the price difference. Can’t go wrong with either tbh.
