Sonos sound bar

LINK - Sonos Arc
I’m interested in this sound bar. I heard it yesterday and was very impressed.
I’ll be upgrading my living room TV eventually and when I do, I’d like to pair it with something like the link above.
I currently have a Yamaha AV Receiver with Kef 5.1 speakers and subwoofer. Right now, in order to hear sound, I have to turn on my AV receiver as my TV does not have any sound output the way it is configured (it would not sound good anyway given size of room and quality of TV speakers).
I’d like to keep my 5.1 sound but only when I want to turn on AV receiver (assuming I buy new TV in future). I’d like to use a sound bar (above link) for normal every day use. Can I do both separately? Also, could I do both together if I chose to as well? Might be overkill considering I have center speaker in 5.1 setup, just want to know if that is an option.
Also, what is best way to mount a sound bar to TV hanging on wall? I’ve seen some brackets that mount the TV and sound bar together, is that the best and cleanest option?

I bought the Arc right when it came out along with the upgraded sub and 2 rear speakers.
The 5.1 is excellent and very comparable to the full av system it replaced.
I ended up selling all my existing speakers, components, buying a new earc capable tv and only using Sonos.
I already had Sonos in the house so the switch actually unified everything and made it easier.

hey i responding to your post from the other day, here.
oh nothing to be worried about, He is just grown up. Still very active, and since we moved to a larger yard, he loves being outside chasing squirrels up trees. I just know we are now on the other side of the mountain regarding life expectancy.

Mine is 6 years old as well and can be just as active and playful as she was when she was a puppy. What are you noticing with your boy?

The ARC has up firing Atmos speakers so make sure you don’t block them by mounting the bar right up on the bezel of the TV.

This part sucks. I would love for my Dobie to last as long as my Min Pin (16 years), but the likelihood of that happening is probably less than 50 %.
We need to ge them together for a play date.

Noted, thank you for this tip.
