Sonos New Soundbar Arc - Dolby Atmos capable

I saw discussions started about this in another thread but I think it deserved its own thread.
Sonos new soundbar, ARC, was just released.
It supports Dolby Atmos and ARC communications.
This is a game changer, at least for me.
I've had a Sonos system since 2006 with a few upgrades over the years but I always had a Receiver based home theater and 2-channel listening system.
Even though I know it won't rival a finely tuned 2 channel system in fidelity, my personal listening habits have changed enough over the past few years that this has convinced me to go 100% Sonos.
I preordered the home theater system yesterday and am selling all my other stuff.
My wife for one is looking forward to simplicity in watching TV now.
Oh and because this uses ARC to communicate with the TV, I had to buy a new TV so win-win.

that looks nice. i've considered buying an x box one x when the next gens come out to get that Atmos sound and 4k playability and basically replace my main streaming device

To get full advantage of the Sonos ARC, you need a TV that supports eARC and ideally HDMI 2.1. eARC can pass uncompressed Dolby Atmos and is mandatory as part of the HDMI 2.1 spec. eARC is optional on HDMI 2.0 and most TVs don't have it. Not many TVs support HDMI 2.1 though that's beginning to change with this year's models.

Received my Arc home theater system yesterday.
I setup the Arc and the gen 3 subwoofer.
Can't setup the rear surrounds until I get power there but just with these 2 new pieces, I am very impressed so far.
I only listened to a few songs so not enough to comment on that yet but on TV, the dialogue was a huge improvement so far.
I need to test it with a movie that has notorious poor dialogue quality to see but just a few hours of watching shows last night, it was very noticeable how clear the primary voice channel was.
I still have to setup the rear speakers and calibrate everything but right out of the box, very impressive so far.
Btw, It is plugged into a LG C9 using eARC.
Only complaint if the single HDMI which I guess isn't a real complaint.
I only ran 2 HDMIs in the wall but now I need 3 unless mount the ARC under the TV on the wall to free one run.

LG CX bought last week and got the Arc yesterday. Loving the setup.
Will expand the rears as well when I get power run.
