Sonos amp with Starlink?

My father in law recently switched their internet to Starlink. Problem is we can’t find a way to connect his Sonos amp to the new router. Supposedly this is an issue with Starlink. Anyone know a way around this?

The amp should work fine on WiFi. Starlink (at least the models I’ve had experience with) don’t have Ethernet ports. You can buy an Ethernet adapter on Amazon for 60-70 dollars though if needed

The Sonos app which I assume is on a phone that is connected to Starlink can’t find the amp?

Yeah it doesn’t find the amp. I followed instructions on Sonos app which asked to hook eather net line up to Sonos and Starlink. The Starlink does have two ports. It still doesn’t find the Sonos.

Have you tried a hard reset?
All other Sonos products
Unplug the power cord.
Press and hold the Join button (
) while reconnecting the power cord. If your product doesn’t have a Join button, you can instead press and hold the
Play / Pause or
Mute button while reconnecting power.
Continue holding the button until the light flashes orange and white.
The light will flash green when the process is complete and the product is ready to be set up.
You can add your Sonos product back to your system by following the steps in our Add a new product to an existing Sonos system article.

Ok. I think that worked. I’ve got his amp hooked up. Thanks!
