My Q sucks.
i just installed a wemos d1 mine with a relay shield running ESPHome. its awesome. Internet goes out, i can still use it.

That’s like... your opinion, man.
I love it. I can open or close our garage from anywhere on the planet. Has notifications, auto-close on any set schedule I choose, etc. It has its own MyQ app. Ours is built in to our Chamberlain garage door motors.
