Should I buy a laptop and phone before Black Friday or wait?

I am in the market for a new phone (iPhone 12 Pro specifically) and laptop (Leaning HP since I already have one). I know sometimes Black Friday deals are usually just lowered markups, but every once in a while there are good promotions. Was wondering should I buy now vs waiting until later to avoid shipment delays? Need them before Christmas. Hell, Costco has some decent laptops and seems like Verizon never has an outright discount/promotion.

I’m following this too. Always have had dell latitudes for personal use at the house. Not a gamer. Basic home activities.
