Should I be worried about my banking apps on my phone?

I am not a technology guy so I could use some help. I recently received a text message saying something along the lines of congratulations on be selected to test an android (I really don't remember exact wording I instantly deleted it). Now I have received missed calls from Malaysia. All these events have happened in the past couple of days. Has my phone been hacked or is this just 2 unrelated events? I am really just worried about someone getting into my banking apps.
