Samsung Tablet vs iPAD?

Have a S7 Tab A and it's been good for a few years but starting to slow and show its age. Looking at options.

Primarily use tablet to play games or watch videos.

Would making the change over to iPad be worth it or stick to the Samsung brand? The nice thing about the Samsung tablet is the external SD drive option.

If I go iPAD..is the M1 chip over a14 make any difference?

Wanted the tech board's thoughts. TIA.

They're up to the M2 now. I'd imagine that thing hauls arse.

I saw that too but I thought those are on the Pro version? Pro is just be out of my price range.

iPad Air for sure. The M1 iPads are super quick.

Removable storage is wonderful for unexpected internet outages and remote travel.
