What are th eboards thoughts? I was always a huge Plasma fan but I sold them with the house I sold.
Now I need to buy a new one and am having difficulty deciding. I really need a large screen for the wall its going on which has me considering the Samsung 78" SUHD js8600 (not a fan of the curved one)
However, the black levels of the OLED technology realy has me considering the 65" LG. I wish they made a larger OLED screen.
Price isn't really an issue. Thoughts?

I can't stand watching the curve models.
Look into the XBR75X850C. It's at the end of its life so you might find a deal.
The LG is nice.

I've been waiting for OLED TVs to come out for a while now. I don't think you can beat the kind of picture that technology provides.

Are they reliable? Serious question...

Apparently the technology is new so it's hard to say one way or the other I guess.

There are hundreds of millions of phones made with OLED displays. They seem pretty reliable so far.
