Samsung Q70(2019) vs Sony X900F

Looking to upgrade to a new 65” tv and both of these are $999 at Best Buy currently (looking to stay around $1k). Will be in a room with a decent amount of ambient light during the daytime. Will be used mainly for sports and tv shows/movies. Use a Roku for Netflix, prime, etc. No gaming.
Very similar reviews on rtings.com. It looks like the Q70(2019) has better contrast/black levels while the X900F has better gray uniformity and light reflection. I’m a little worried about dirty screen effect with the Q70 for sports and have also read about bad blooming on the X900 with HDR video
Anyone have any thoughts/recommendations? Will it basically be a pick your poison with these 2? Neither will be perfect, obviously

Go for the Q80; it's so much better with light reflections than the Q70/X900F. I have the Q80 and the TV before it I was always distracted by light from windows but not anymore.

The only thing I watch much of during the daytime is sports. Generally watch all shows/movies at night. Not sure if an extra $600 is worth it for that purpose, even though it is a better tv regardless. I’ve been keeping an eye on the prices for that one

I have the 55" Q80 in my home office. Incredible picture and I haven't even tried to properly calibrate it yet.

I have a 75in X900F and it is awesome. Very smooth motion handling.

I had a Q70 65 inch and had to return it to Costco after a week. Motion made us nauseous. Glare was terrible. Spent the extra money and bought an LG C9 OLED. Our eyes are rested while watching TV and minimal/no glare. Love it.

That sounds like you didn't set it up properly. There are tons of adjustments for motion and framerate in these newer higher end TVs. Glad you found one you love though.

I have the Q70 75". I wish it was brighter to handle ambient lighting and HDR content better.

I turned this off in the TV settings.
