Ring floodlight won’t go off

Have its wires ran to an existing spotlight power source. The floodlights stay on all the time. Even when I use the app to turn off the light, it just comes back on. Any idea what’s causing this? No “light schedule” or anything turned on in settings. Ring sent a new one after troubleshooting with me for 30 minutes. Still doing it.
The existing spotlight it’s run to, no issues.

Did you try minimizing the area for it to scan for movement? Is the something that is potentially moving like a neighbor's flag?

I did. Motion zones are very minimal to troubleshoot. The motion infrared light doesn’t even have time to illuminate. It just pops back on

Weird. It is just a normal power source, seems exactly like mine (replaced existing floodlight). Does there happen to be another floodlight that you could put it on? See if maybe there is an issue with that location?

Yeah I think that’s exactly what we’re going to do next.. Swap the working one with it and see if that location continues to act up.
