Regarding R/Nflstreams without VPN

Quick question:
I'm not a tech savvy guy but I've been using R/Nflstreams to watch the Saints games.
I haven't been using a VPN or exotic firewalls and such.
Am I going to get computer Aids?
A nasty fine sent from NFL attorneys?
I live way out of market and out of any Fox broadcasts. Internet speeds are doo-doo also.
I'm clutching at straws here.
