Like the title says, i looking for a tablet that I can bring around for the sole purpose of reading various textbooks that I have. I Must have the ability to use the Inkling App and hopefully be able to download/take notes on other textbooks as well.

Other than that, it just needs to be light, smooth, with around an 8 inch screen.

Im looking into the Samsung Tab A 8" and the Ipad Mini 2 but thats a little on the more expensive side of that I was hoping to spend.

Nice, what do you think about it specifically?

Obviously other than the fact that you recommend it.

I'm just accustomed to android and it's been solid so far. Screen is 8" and it's extremely clear. Expandable memory is nice even though I've got plenty of built in storage. Camera isn't bad either.

Yeah I had an android phone before my current Iphone and I liked it until it started realy slowing down near the end and almost became unusable. I know this wouldnt be the same but still bothers me. Everything else sounds great though.

My problem with the Ipad mini 2 is its $100 more and feels fragile as hell.

I have Samsung Tablet A 10". Cheaper than I-PAD. My first Android device. Really happy with it.
