I recently received this email. I suspect fraud and phishing. Has anyone received this type of email?

From "vcovefield@langmanagement.com"

"The Classic version of  AT&T Mail will be replaced by our new version on the 28th of December
Synchronization was unsuccessful because your mailbox could not be validated. Go to New Yahoo Mailbox Setup"

Sincerely,
The AT&T Mail Secure Team."

I have multiple mail addresses that are close to or over 20 years old, I get them all the time. Congratulations, scammers have scrubbed your e-mail address off the web somewhere or gotten it from a website that was breached by hackers. There are sites on the dark web that buy the data from hacked websites and sell them to scammers. Those databases contain million of e-mail address. The scammers have e-mail programs that e-mail them all. If only a few people respond, they make money.

Delete the e-mail and move on.
